[Things have returned to normal in the past few days, but that doesn't quite mean that everything is okay again. For all that Ronan has spent the past week trying to protect Gansey from any outside influences- particularly Blue- that doesn't mean that they've really talked much.
It's with that in mind that Ronan finally seeks Gansey out, leaving his room to move into the living area to look for him. Gansey deserves their attention, for all that they've disregarded him lately. Especially with Blue had said. Especially with what had transpired during the mirror event. With everything.
Ronan lets out a breath, glancing around for him.]
[ Gansey is, in fact, sitting on the floor in front of the couch. Before him are a lot of tin cans, which he has dutifully cleaned out and are now being piled in various positions around the living room rug.
The rug is doubling as a map, and the cans are meant to resemble buildings. It's not exactly a cereal box model, but it's about as close as he can get. Plus, it's distracting. This kind of work comes with many benefits. He looks up at Ronan's voice, and cranes his neck around the couch. ]
[Ronan peeks over the couch and finds him, though he falters for a moment at the map that he's laid out. He's not entirely sure what to think of it- it's similar to the one that Gansey had made back in Monmouth, but less finished. Ronan wonders if it's strictly necessary, but since when has Gansey cared about that?
He knows the real reason behind it, anyway, the same one that was behind the cereal box Henrietta: Gansey isn't sleeping. Is that really so surprising, after everything that's happened?]
[ As far as maps go, this one is far from accurate. He'd do better if he had the right tools. Or a streetmap, to lay it over. The best he's managed is to pile them on top of one another, and twist some of their lids around to make a cone-shaped top for his 'spires'. It's not very inspiring.
He abandons it when Ronan comes close, and leans back against the couch. He tilts his head back, looking at his friend upside down. ]
Just something to pass the time. Shame there aren't better materials.
Are you coming to sit?

[Whether Ronan means the gods or himself isn't really clear. Nevertheless, he presses a hand to the back of the couch so he can push himself over it, sitting on the spine and resting his feet on the couch cushions.
Ronan doesn't answer the question directly, and instead pointedly makes himself comfortable on his perch on the couch.]

You know, I would have come with you if you'd asked before you went off for supplies
Are you texting while in imminent danger or can I assume you're safe?
no subject
I believe I said "qualified individuals," a category you do not belong to in this situation.
Do assume whichever makes you feel best.

Parrish are you even getting my texts? I must have asked three different people where the fruit was
I would respond with appropriate emoji outrage but I can't even work out how you've done that
text
I'm not doing the emoji on purpose.

Anyway at least one went to Lynch
He was unhelpful re. fruit

That said you are aware that moving the table is also an option
I'm simply making the suggestion

Does that matter when the whole cave is dark? It's still dark. I can't see it clearly. But my knee will find it.
