Hadriel - In Game Powers
Gansey is more or less an ordinary human. However, due to the intervention of a magical sentient forest (it's complicated), Gansey is able, under certain circumstances, to exhibit some control over magic.
On a day to day level, Gansey just seems a little unusual. He is unusually persuasive, and unusually good at finding things - in particular, he seems able to find rare artefacts that no one else can, seemingly just because he believes that he can. It appears that this is related to Gansey's intent - there is some latent magic in him that helps him to achieve what he intends, giving him the instinct to know what argument to make, or where to search.
This ability becomes even stronger when he is amplified by someone who is able to enhance the powers of others. When this happens, Gansey is able to command magic directly - for example, by commanding dangerous magic to stop working, by commanding magic to activate and lead him where he wants to go, or even by commanding a demon to stop possessing his friend.
Gansey only fully begins to understand and make regular use of this power in The Raven King. As of his canon update to this book, he will therefore be able to use this power in game. It will work as follows:
As Gansey's power has the potential to impact other characters, it would be great if you could complete the following form to tell me how it can affect your characters!

Gansey only fully begins to understand and make regular use of this power in The Raven King. As of his canon update to this book, he will therefore be able to use this power in game. It will work as follows:
- Gansey is notably persuasive. When he puts intention behind his words, he is very convincing and difficult to say no to. However, it is far from impossible - he has no control over other people's minds, and if they stubbornly disagree with him, they are not forced to comply.
- He is notably good at finding things; his belief that an object can be found, or his strong intention to find it, will make it more likely that he is on the right path. For this to be successful, it must be possible to find the object; Gansey's power does not create an item that is not real, but it can set his instincts on the right path - even when that path is difficult for anyone else to see.
- While under the influence of a character who can amplify powers, Gansey can also command magic and magical powers to either activate, or stop. This enables him to nullify magical powers, stop magic from affecting him and others, and command it to work for him.
- This only works when the conditions are right, as shown when he is unable to 'wake' Glendower's bones - he cannot create magic for himself. Some manner of magic (either a spell, or latent magical power within a place) must be present in order for him to tell it to work.
As Gansey's power has the potential to impact other characters, it would be great if you could complete the following form to tell me how it can affect your characters!

Will Gansey's natural persuasiveness work on your character? Most definitely.
Can Gansey, while amplified, nullify your character's powers? If Clear decides to go evil song crazy, most likely yes.
Can Gansey, while amplified, command your character's powers to activate? oooooooooooooh yeah. He probably has more control over Clear than anyone else her because of his own canon reasons.
How should I contact you for plotting? You can plurk me at any time!

Will Gansey's natural persuasiveness work on your character? Muscovy is incredibly set in his thought patterns, so this will only work if 1) it fits into his thought pattern or 2) Gansey manages to make Muscovy think that he's his boss, which would mean that following any command of his would fit into Muscovy's thought pattern.
Can Gansey, while amplified, nullify your character's powers? Yes (though his only magical power is healing)
Can Gansey, while amplified, command your character's powers to activate? Yes (see above)
How should I contact you for plotting? Plurk

Will Gansey's natural persuasiveness work on your character? Probably. Ushahin's mind is a little fractured, but if he can get past the natural state of madness, it'll work.
Can Gansey, while amplified, nullify your character's powers? Yes.
Can Gansey, while amplified, command your character's powers to activate? Yes.
How should I contact you for plotting? Plurk or PM!

Will Gansey's natural persuasiveness work on your character? Nope. He's a stubborn jerk.
Can Gansey, while amplified, nullify your character's powers? Absolutely.
Can Gansey, while amplified, command your character's powers to activate? Have at. He can be teleported away, explode into tar, summon mannequins and baseball bats and control electronics.
How should I contact you for plotting?

No problem, thank you!
IDK WHY I'M FILLING THIS OUT IT'S JUST CANON...
